My husband and I and another friend enjoyed a week of rest & relaxation at Finca Son Olive. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from it all but with all modern comforts & facilities, i.e. flat screen TV, jacuzzi bath, free wifi, etc., then this is the place ! Run by Jutta & Michael, Finca Son Olive is a trad style mallorcan finca that has been renovated to the highest standards. The finca has extensive grounds and a fab swimming pool with views of the nearby tramontana mountains.The rooms are very well appointed, with all modern comforts. Buffet style breakfast is eaten on the front terrace and consists of a delicious range of fresh breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, tea/coffee, etc. and bacon & eggs if you so wish ! (expertly cooked by Mike). The surrounding area consists of fields of almond trees, olive trees, vines & various fruit trees. The finca is located more or less in the centre of the island & is ideally situated for exploring North, South, East & West ! We would have no hesitation in recommending Finca Son Olive !
There was nothing that we didn't like ! The only suggestion we would have is that the information booklet in the rooms which was all in german & explains about the facilities of the hotel, check in/out times, etc., is made available in other languages, i.e. english, french & spanish.
